The business notebook HP Compaq 6735b is equipped with a 15.4-inch display, which shows content with the WXGA resolution. Optionally, it can be equipped with a WSXGA+ display.

The installed graphics is an onboard ATI Radeon HD 3200 and 1 GB RAM is included too. The working memory can be expanded up to 8 GB. When choosing the CPU the customer can pick an AMD Athlon 64 X2 or a Turion 64 X2 processor. The fastest CPU offers 2.2 GHz.

The notebooks mass storage device consists of an SATA HDD with a disk size between 120 GB and 250 GB. The DVD’s bay can be used for the optical drive or a second hard disk.

The HP Compaq 6735b is already available and its price starts at $ 779.

HP Compaq 6535b:

The business notebook HP Compaq 6535b is equipped with a 14.1-inch display, which shows content with the WXGA resolution. Optionally, it can be equipped with a WXGA+ display.

They executed the price cutting, because the base price of the used 64 GB solid state drives dropped. Apple passed this saving of costs to its customers. The MacBook Air with 64 GB SSD costs $ 2.598 in the USA instead of $ 3.098.

Apple only reduced the price in the United States of America, but not in Europe so far. The MacBook Air costs in Germany approximately € 1.200 more than in the USA.

The British news site Hexus.channel spoke to Eugene Mitchell from Asus to get some more information about the Eee PC 904 and they got interesting news.

The new Asus Eee PC 904 won’t offer a bigger case, because it uses the same one on the Asus Eee PC 900. The Eee PC 904 does not only get the case of the Eee PC 900, it gets its CPU as well. Therefore, the new Eee PC 904 provides an Intel Celeron CPU with 900 MHz.

Instead of the flash memory, there will be used a normal hard drive with a capacity of 80 GB. The Asus Eee PC 904 and the Eee PC 1000 will be available in the next weeks.

We don’t know anything about the hard drives disk size, but there are rumours that Asus wants to equip the notebook with an 80 GB HDD. Every Eee PC 904 offers an 8.9-inch display and is built in a bigger case. This allows providing the Eee PC 904 with a bigger keyboard.

Rumours say that the manufacturer Everex wants to bring a new low-cost notebook besides its Cloudbook and its upcoming Cloudbook Max. The new laptop is another Cloudbook with 10.2-inch display.

The display shows content with a resolution of 1.024 x 600 pixels and a 1.3 mega pixel webcam is installed as well. The laptop can be equipped with up to 2 GB RAM and a 4-in-1 card reader is included too.

Furthermore, the new Cloudbook offers an express card slot and a 4- or 6-cell battery. WLAN 802.11 b/g and WiMAX / 3G WWAN provide communication.

The notebook is expected to get released in November 2008, but those are still rumours.

The internet news site Eeepcnews shows some picture of the upcoming Eee PC 904. Those show that the new Eee PC is geared to the MSI Wind notebook because its case gets bigger and it offers a bigger keyboard as well.

The display’s size keeps at 8.9-inch, but the notebook gets installed into a 10.2-inch case. We don’t know anything about the laptop’s hardware so far, but we suppose that it will be similar to the Asus Eee PC 901.

The flash drive will be available... OCZ expands its product line by new solid state drives. Those are part of the new Core Series SATA II 2.5” SSD’s and the manufacturer says that they shall be the first affordable solid state drives.

The drives offer a disk size of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB and they cost $ 169, $ 259 and $ 479. This price is low relating to other solid state drives.

The SSD’s are manufactured with NAND flash technology and reach a writing speed of 80 – 93 MB per second and a reading speed of 120 – 143 MB per second.

We don’t know yet when those drives will be available.

The LifeBook P8010 was presented by Fujitsu-Siemens little time ago. Now the manufacturer developed its new Pink Gold Edition which is an improved version of this notebook.

The LifeBook P8010 is equipped with a 12.1-inch display, which shows content with the WXGA resolution. It gets supported by an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 which can use up to 348 MB of the laptops RAM.

The Notebook offers a 250 GB SATA hard disk and is equipped with 1.024 MB RAM. If needed, the working memory can be upgraded up to 4 GB. A dual layer DVD RW drive is the included optical drive.

A gigabit LAN adapter and several wireless adapters provide communication. The wireless adapters are Bluetooth 2.0, WLAN and a 3.5G HSDPA WWAN adapter. This enables connecting to the internet, even when there is no WLAN hotspot in range.

The notebook CPU is an Intel Core 2 Duo SL7100 processor with 1.2 GHz. Furthermore, there is a PCMCIA type I/II slot included too.

The Fujitsu LifeBook P8010 is already available in Australia and costs $ 2.748.

The new Atom 330 processor has only 8 watts TDP and its performance allows the usage in notebooks and small desktop computers as well. Although, Intel will present its new CPU in this quarter but the mass production of the processor won’t start at once. Probably, this will happen a little bit later.
