Acer Aspire One rival
ASUS are releasing a new netbook which is said to rival the Acer Aspire One. The new Asus Eee PC 1000HA includes a 1.6 Ghz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g Wireless LAN, 3x USB, webcam, Windows XP and a 10.2-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display. The specs aren’t that different from those of the Aspire One (Aspire One has 8.9-inch screen). Dimensions: 10.47" x 7.53" x 1.12". Two colors are available-black and white.
Price: $399.99 (with Windows XP). Acer also offers a Linux-equipped model for $329.99.
