Asus presented Eee PC S101 - a little larger and significantly more expensive than most Eee PC models. It weights less than 1 kilogram and is only 1.8-centimeters thick. That's smaller and thinner than the MacBook Air. Available in brown, champagne, and graphite colors the netbook will sport a
- 10.2-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display,
- an Intel Atom1.6GHz N270 CPU,
- a 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB solid state disk,
- 1GB of memory,
- Wi-Fi (802.11n), Ethernet (10/100), built-in card reader, Bluetooth 2.0,
- a VGA output, three USB 2.0 ports and 0.3-megapixel webcam.
Three versions will be available – with WindowsXP, 16GB SSD and 16GB SD card for $700, with 32GB SSD and Linux also for $700 and a version with 64GB SSD and Linux for $800. The prices refer to US market.
